Min Wang

Associate Professor, University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR

Min Wang earned his BSc and PhD degrees from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and The University of London, respectively. He is a Chartered Scientist and Chartered Engineer in the UK and a fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining, UK. Dr. Wang has conducted research and teaching in The University of London, UK, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and The University of Hong Kong. Currently, Dr.Wang is an associate professor at The University of Hong Kong. He is also a chair professor (concurrent appointment) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, a guest professor of Wuhan University of Technology and Tianjin University, and an adjunct professor of Dong Hua University, China.

Dr. Wang's current research interests include biomedical materials, biological materials, and tissue engineering. Dr.Wang has provided consultancy on biomaterials to multinational healthcare companies based in the UK and US. He is currently an Editorial Board member of Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Medicine (Publisher: Springer, Germany) and Surface and Coatings Technology (Publisher: Elsevier, the Netherlands). He also serves as an overseas expert member in the Biophysics and Biomedical Engineering Panel of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
