Welcome to the official website of BioMed 2004, the Kuala Lumpur International Conference on Biomedical Engineering to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 2 - 4 September 2004.

The conference will be officiated by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato' Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi, on September 3, 2004.

    Who should attend

    The conference is primarily targeted at biomedical engineers, medical practitioners, and medical physicists. In addition, all academicians, researchers, and students from engineering and medical faculties are also encouraged to be part of BioMed 2004.

    Language

    The official language of the conference is English. Presentation and discussions will also be conducted in English. No simultaneous translation is provided.

    The programs are available for download in .pdf format.

    The Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato' Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi, has finally agreed to officiate the opening ceremony of BioMed 2004.
