The official language of the conference is English. Presentation and discussions
will also be conducted in English. No simultaneous translation is provided.

The Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato' Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi, has finally agreed to officiate the opening ceremony of BioMed 2004.
